Making Waves in Redondo Beach, CA

Gordon Huether has been awarded to create artwork for the City of Redondo Beach Public Art Program. The artist initially presented three proposals to the public art committee. ‘Waves’ is the winning proposal for this wall art installation and will become a focal and identifying feature for the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center.

CIA at Copia, Napa: Festive Unveiling of Two Major Sculptures

Please join us for an exciting event-filled weekend on February 18th + 19th, as we celebrate the unveiling of Gordon Huether's artwork for the new CIA (The Culinary Institute of America) Campus at the former Copia in Napa, California. On Saturday, February 18th a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with CIA President Dr. Tim Ryan will take place from 2PM to 3PM. Mike Thompson, Bill Dodd, and Mayor Jill Techel will be in attendence. Ashland, OR Theater Corridor: Challenging Location Sparks Imagination & Creative Exploration

The artwork location for this theater corridor in Ashland, OR is a beautiful project for the artist! Gordon’s creativity thrives when confronted with challenging location restrictions, pushing him to explore areas, which he may not explore otherwise. Some preliminary design sketches are currently in the works so please stay tuned for further development and updates on the design for this intriguing public art opportunity!
